Our Central District and West Seattle refis closed quickly, but we hit a snag during our Bremerton appraisal. Although the loan only considered the rents on the finished and rented units, the appraiser insisted that we finish the middle unit before the loan closed (i.e. his estimate would assume the value of a fully rented triplex). Fortunately most of the work was done, we just had to remove all construction supplies and debris. And with Covid we did not need a re-inspection – photos would suffice. After an epic three days, we had them. These are definitely work-in-progress photos, but they get me so excited to see the finished work!
We still have a few things to do before we can list, but it feels so good to be this close to the finish line.
As a side note, one of my motivations for starting this blog was to improve my interior photography… and I’m still figuring that out. The apartment gets flooded with light in the afternoon, but these still feel so dark? Not a huge fan of lightening it up in Photoshop. I’ll play around with it a little more when we do the final photos for listing.
