Purchased 2014 for $437,500. Our first property and first home — we lived in the middle unit for eight years before renting all three units. The foundation of everything that came after.
Cherry Hill, Seattle

Purchased 2021 for $1,325,000. Our last Seattle home before moving to New York — we lived in one unit before converting to a full rental. Financed using VA partial entitlement and a HELOC on the Central District property.
Union Hill, Bremerton

Purchased 2017 for $300,000. Our most ambitious renovation — we bought a distressed triplex and put 100% of our budget into bringing it up to standard. Financed with a VA loan for the second time. We lived there briefly to satisfy the occupancy requirement before moving back to Seattle.

Inherited property. Our only single family home and our only California asset. A different market, different tenant profile, and different management dynamics than our Seattle portfolio.
